You will learn how to make a pattern/resist using one of your own pieces of clothing as a guide (it does not need to be a vest) and to easily size it up to account for shrinkage using Beth's Easy Peasy Shrinkage Calculation sheet. Beth's method for pattern making doesn't involve taking body measurements or using complicated math - you won't even need a calculator.
Learn Beth's collage style of felting by incorporating hand made prefelts and layering various silk fabrics. Beth will teach you how to create seamless edges and to professionally finish the open areas like the armholes and hemline, and how to shape and size your vest to fit properly and flatteringly. You will also learn about various closures for your vest.
On the afternoon of the last day, Beth will help you style the vest and show the various ways it can be worn along with a one-on-one photo shoot.

An email confirmation, a detailed material list (mainly you'll be bringing your own wool roving and silk fabric) and other pertinent information will be provided upon registration. You will NOT need to bring cumbersome supplies like bubble wrap, resist material, pool noodle - that will all be provided to you at no additional cost.
