Step inside Studio 907. Be surrounded by the artifacts of a life in progress. Watch out for the snapping photos, the sharp edges of metal smithing, the incredible act of felting, the painting of silk, the shifting grounds of travel, the click clack of the mah jongg tiles, vibrant smells from the kitchen and the warmth of an ever full house. Never mind the dogs barking - they're friendly to the core. Grab a cup of coffee, pour yourself a glass of wine. Come enjoy a journey with me.

Day 24 - Beyond Layers - What a cool, exciting and challenging assignment. As soon as I got Kim's email this morning, I was up and setting up the tripod in my bathroom. I liked Kim's idea of holding something, like her coffee cup, so I decided to do a selfie of me blow drying my hair which is part of my general morning routine. Here I am wearing my comfy tee shirt (i.e. PJ top), drying my hair and getting ready for work. I enhanced the image with a few adjustment layers to lighten up the image except for my red hair (yes you too can have red hair!). I also used Kim's new awesome watercolor texture called "I am" and one of her new affirmation brushes.
